About HGP

Himachal Ganita Parishad (HGP) is the first organization of its kind which has been formed with the aim to improve the mathematical education at all levels, that is, School, College and University level. Keeping in view the said ideas, Himachal Ganita Parishad (HGP) is registered under the Himachal Pradesh Societies Registration Act 2006 vide number HPCD- 4754 dated 31st March, 2021. HGP is committed to improve the basic understanding and to develop the interest in Mathematics among the various levels of students of Himachal Pradesh by organizing Workshops, Seminars, Conferences and related activities at different places of Himachal Pradesh. HGP has planned the different schemes to improve the basic understanding of Mathematics among the students along with the applications of Mathematics in Basic Sciences, Computer Sciences, Astronomy and Commerce etc. All the teachers of Mathematics from the Schools to the University level and any graduate in Mathematics may become a member of the Parishad and contribute for the Mathematical development of the students of Himachal Pradesh.
